Dominic’s story
Dominic left Poland as a young man to escape the communist regime. He uses the local library to research wartime history and the fate of his father, a hero of the Polish army. So why the pile of Mills & Boon novels?
Harvey’s Story
For Harvey, the Reading Room is a sanctuary from the world of hard drugs. And it’s well placed for keeping an eye on what’s happening on the street. But is a library the best place to kick a habit when there are irresistible temptations on the shelf?
Ross’s Story
Middle aged Ross seems the least troubled of the three. He has a steady job and a healthy interest in the behaviour of small animals. But then in the Reading Room, things are not always what they seem.
